Speaking, listening, writing, reading, understanding: we are surrounded by words.
Words are the tools that translators and interpreters use to convey the thoughts, arguments, and ideas expressed by people who do not understand each other. Words that have to be adapted to different contexts and require attention, preparation, study.
We must continue to learn new words to open up new horizons, to give them the right meaning, the meaning that the speaker intends to give.
Without words there is no communication, signed or spoken, they are the source and raison d’être of our professions.
Let us use words well, they can give substance to dreams, but also destroy them.
