EULITA is holding an online seminar on « Standards: an Undervalued Tool in the Hands of Language Professionals » on Monday, 26 September 2022, at 17:00 CET.

The seminar will outline the bodies at the international and national level that set the standards in the field of translation, interpreting and related technology. ISO standards are important, as they establish requirements and recommendations for translators and interpreters, and offer guidance to users of their services. 

The seminar will be led by two ISO experts, Dr Verónica Pérez Guarnieri and Liese Katschinka, both freelance interpreters with vast experience in the field of standardisation.
