The Slovenian Association of Scientific and Technical Translators (abbreviated DZTPS in Slovenian, www.dztps.si) is pleased to announce that it has established a Section for Court Interpreters. This is in direct response to the TRAFUT workshop, organized in Ljubljana by EULITA in November 2011, and the adoption of Directive 20120/64/EU on the right to interpretation and translation in criminal proceedings.

The Building Mutual Trust (JLS /2007/219 project) aims to encourage common standards of competence for legal interpreters and translators in the judicial systems of the EU by providing models for training programmes, procedures and materials.
